Drew this during epitanime in paris some days ago! I loved that con, it was fun c:

Done with copic markers, white gel pen and added some stuff on Photoshop

I love the brightness and blueness of this piece. ChibiCaya said it first, but yes, the vertical composition does add to the emotion to the piece because we can see the depths of Sayaka's long fall. The blue color scheme, while it simply may be Sayaka's colors, does lend a slightly melancholy air to this picture, emphasized by Sayaka's vacant expression.

I think this is a lovely piece of fan art.
